英语中的倍数表达法一般有以下几种情况（前三种最常见常考）：
（1） 倍数＋比较级＋than．．．，
例：The room is twice larger than that one．这个房间是那个房间的两倍大。
（2） 倍数＋as＋原级＋as．．．，
例：The room is three times as large as that one．
这个房间是那个房间的三倍。
有时候第二个as可以省略。
如：This room is large, but that room is twice as large. 这个房间大，但那个房间是其两倍大。
（3） 倍数＋the size ／height／length ／weight ／width of．．．
例：The room is three times the size of that one．
这个房间是那个房间的3倍大。
（4）倍数 + 物主代词 + 名词，如：
I‘m twice your age. 我是你年龄的两倍。
相当于：
I’m twice as old as you.
或者I’m twice older than you.
（5）倍数 + what引导的名词性从句，如：
He ate three times what I ate.
他吃的是我吃的的三倍。
（6）用分数、百分数表示倍数。如：
The box is one-third the size of that one.
这个盒子是那个盒子的三分之一。
My command of English is not half so good as yours.
我英语掌握得还不及你的一半儿好。
